“وکالت کے ناطے يہ بات عرض کرنی چاھوں گا کہ اگرچہ اس پيشہ سےلوگوں کو يہ شکايت ہے کہ وکلاء فيس لے کر سچ کو جھوٹ اور جھوٹ کو سچ کرنے ميں ماہر ہوتے ہيں۔ليکن يہ تاثر صحيح نہيں۔وکالت کا اصل مقصد انصاف کا اصول ہے۔وکالت کا پيشہ ايمانداری،جرآت اور دانشمندی کے مجموعے کا نام ہے۔

ايک بڑے وکيل نے جب اپنے شاگرد کو نصيحت کی تو اسے کہا کہ اگر کبھی ايسا وقت آۓ کہ تم مقدمہ ہار جاؤ ليکن تمہارا سائل تمہارا معتقد ہوجاۓ تو سمجھ لو کہ تم نے کچھ نہيں کھويا۔”

“Mere Mashoor Muqadmay a lawyer, I would like to state that although people in this profession have a complaint that lawyers are experts in telling the truth and lies for a fee. But this impression is not correct. The real purpose of advocacy is the principle of justice. The profession of advocacy is the name of a combination of honesty, courage and wisdom.

When a senior lawyer advised his student, he said, “If there ever comes a time when you lose a case but your questioner believes you, then you have not lost anything.”
