This book is in fact a collection of Friday sermons of Maulana Maudoodi which he delivered before the simple illiterate villagers who use to come for Jumma prayers in the mosque of Dar-ul-Islam Pathankot. In those sermons, he elucidated the fundamentals of Islam in a simple and most logical manner the like of which is rarely to found in the religious literature of any language. There is a harmony of thought, the conviction of true believer, and beauty of language which captures both the mind and heart.
