یہ کتاب امام ابو عبداللہ محمد بن فراج المالکی کے نام سے مشہور ہے ، جو اندلس کے مشہور فقیہ اور راوی ہیں۔

اقصیٰ الرسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کا اردو ترجمہ ہے وہ پانچویں صدی ہجری کے آغاز میں سال 402 ہجری میں پیدا ہوا اور علم و تحقیق کے میدان میں غیر معمولی خدمات انجام دیتے ہوئے 497 عیسوی میں فوت ہوا۔

اس کتاب میں امام ابن الطلہ نے مختلف موضوعات کے تحت مرتب کیا ، جو یہاں اور وہاں حدیث کی کتابوں میں بکھرے ہوئے تھے۔
